Silk Gauze Primer
I’m often asked - what is a good design to start with if I’ve never stitched on silk gauze? There are already several in my line, but these are designed specifically with that stitcher in mind.
First, these are both stitched on 35 count silk gauze - it may not seem like a lot, but those little holes are huge in comparison to the usual 40 count! And, the silk gauze for both designs is enclosed in this chartpak. Next, both designs are small and simple while still giving you a good look at stitching motifs, letters, backgrounds, etc. The colors used in the designs offer strong contrast, making it a bit easier to see as you stitch. Finally, the instructions are a bit more detailed to help you along.
No more excuses - give it a try!
And remember to review the “Stitching with Silk Gauze” page here on the website for more tips.
