My Needle Berry
I don't own an antique sewing bird, but was still inspired to make it the centerpiece of a stitching-themed berry. In addition to the bird on it's brass stand, I've tucked in assorted other supplies we all keep on hand.
You will notice the plus-size berry in the photos. This is an example of the silk berry chart (a much larger stitch count versus the linen berry) when it is stitched over two threads on 40 count linen. It finishes about 6" long and 4" in diameter - much bigger, but still a great piece!
My Needle Berry is sold as a “partner” chartpak, a format which includes instructions and charts for linen and silk berries.
