Do Unto Others
I’ve combined the framework of an 1888 sampler (stitched by Mary Williams of Wrotham in Kent) which includes her “do unto others” sentiment along with a sweet child’s prayer. The colors, freehand work, and folksy naiveté of the original are really charming, and as a cat-lover, it was a must for my collection. This adaptation is charted in the same bright colors Mary used in her sampler.
