This is classic Americana – traditional motifs and rich colors come together for a very pleasing design, particularly when displayed in the pretty burled frame from Olde Colonial Designs. The red borders are Smyrna stitches for a bit of texture and the upper and lower background areas are filled with different shades for added interest.
