Chuck-ful Christmas

Chuck-ful Christmas

Inspiration for this holiday design comes from an old vintage Christmas card and it was great fun bringing part of this quirky verse to life with needle and thread. For obvious reasons, this needed to be a stocking design, but I also straightened it out a bit for a more customary sampler style - pick your favorite!

In addition, you will notice two different color palettes - one is a warner, more contemporary palette and the other is done in the traditional colors of Christmas we are accustomed to. They are interchangeable, so you can stitch the sampler or the stocking in your choice.

The stocking shown here is stitched on silk gauze so is definitely an ornament-size. Easily transferred to your favorite fabric, it would be a pretty stocking as well on a larger scale, perhaps 9” to 12” long.
