 We are Blessed I found this wonderful verse in a book of table blessings and really liked how it covers most everything in a few simple words. This design won't work up as quickly as many of the others in the Petites Collection, but it is definitely worth the time you put into it. A rich chocolate brown border with bits of fall color surrounds the verse set on a damask-style background. It is really an elegant setting for which our images cannot really do justice here. The model finishes to approximately 5" wide by 4" high on the enclosed 40ct gauze. Cotton flosses are from Crescent Colours, The Gentle Art and Weeks Dye Works. If you choose to stitch the design on a linen, look for a color that is a shade lighter than the damask motif in the background for a tone-on-tone effect in the background. |
