Here's something a little different for me! I find these "sewing necessaries" so charming and they give us all a special place to hold those treasured tools we use as we stitch!

I took advantage of the pretty green checkerboard border on the linen banding from Mill Hill and filled it with locks and keys to keep everything "safe." Overdyed flosses from The Gentle Art and Weeks Dye Works, plus beads from Mill Hill create the design.

The chartpak includes 2 little brass key charms, the fine cotton thread for finishing the interior motifs, and a pretty hand-dyed button for the closure.

And don't worry about what to do when you have it stitched because I've also included complete detailed instructions for finishing this piece so it's ready to go! (Note: any plain banding or linen will work, but your finishing will of course be a bit different.)
